NOT RED
So, the only thing my nephew asked for for XMAS this year was a RED race car...saw this on Amazon and it stated clearly RED in the title. What did I get? - Yellow. WTH??? Seriously disappointed in this.

A good car- once it got going
So when i put the batteries in this thing- for the first few minutes, only the steering worked. the drive wheels wouldn't spin. i double checked the batteries and still nothing. Honestly I can't remember what I did to get it working as it was Christmas morning and I was being inundated with requests to open/assemble toys. I do remember having a moment of feeling like I got a dud, then it took off working and i was on to the next item to be made operational.
The car itself works pretty well. It has quite a bit of torque and if you have painted baseboards- look out! It will dent them if you drive it indoors. My 3 year old boy has a few remote control cars and i thought this would be a nice little advancement for him. It is a little too much for him to handle, but my 6 year old daughter LOVES it and she plays with it the most.
The instructions are worthless Chinese garbage, but i think all they do is tell you how to install the batteries.
