not exactly as advertised
This item is different than what it says on the box. it says there are two modes, one with music and one without. But this feature is not really available on the unit. It always plays music and it is very loud and quite annoying. Also the box shows that the rechargeable battery can be recharged by plugging the adapter into the car but that feature is also not there. You have to remove the screw that holds the battery door closed and remove the battery, plug it in, charge, and then reassemble. Getting the battery back into the compartment is very difficult as well. The car works well. it never got stuck, I was always able to maneuver out of every situation. So in that sense it was fine. however I just couldn't stand the music.

Driving parents nuts!
My son just received this from his Grandparents and Uncle for Christmas. My son loves it. But, it is driving his parents crazy. They should of made an on/off switch for the music. So we only let him play with it for a few minutes at a time.
THE MUSIC IS AWEFUL ON THE TOY!
So, I bought his car because there is a simlar but different one that people complained about music playing non-stop. This car does that as well. There is no way to turn off the music. If anyone has any idea please contact me. Bad toy for parents!
