Fun office toy
This guy is a lot of fun. I have to hide him when my nephews come over because it does have some delicate parts. I've always wanted a job where I got to drive a forklift and judging from my driving skills with this it's a good thing I don't.

Terrific Bday Party Gift
Kids just love this little forklift. Not entirely sure why, but I recommend it if your child would be interested in a twist on the typical remote control vehicle. Further it seems equally enjoyed by kids as young as 8 and up to 13.
Fun
For the money, this is a fun little toy. I have a Tamiya 1/14 scale rc semi with a flatbed trailer. This forklift is the perfect load for it. Obviously you can't run this little guy on rough terrain, but on a smooth surface, it's a blast. A person could get real creative with this and make his own pallets from balsa to haul around with light loads.
As far as educational, this is a good tool for people(young ones)getting into rc to learn controls. For instance, you get the hang of having put in opposite control for turning when the machine is coming straight at you. Better to run into the wall with this rather than put a airplane or helicopter into the ground due to not knowing your control inputs.
