Dangerous Toy
I do not recommend this toy for its advertised age range. My 5-year old has this toy, and while it does what it's supposed to do, flip without batteries, it has a thick spring mechanism that's similar, but sturdier, than your average mouse trap. The kid was playing with the toy as you might expect, and the mechanism flipped on his hand, leaving a black and blue line across all of his fingers. I thought his fingers might have been broken, since he cried in pain for about 20-minutes. Needless to say, that made me angry that a toy rated for a kid his age could so easily hurt him that badly.

Grave Digger
My 3 year old grandson is in love with his Grave Digger and plays with it almost constantly. Because of the things it can do and how you do it, right now it is a little above his mentality. But I'm sure he'll figure it out soon. I would buy this product again.
Bad! Bad Product!
My 4 year old grandson loved this monster truck. It appeared to be a very sturdy and durable toy and exactly the size he wanted. However, the spring loading mechanism was very dangerous for little hands and fingers. He could not load it to do flips, etc. I found it hard to operate myself. I was sure he would learn to play with it without using the loading mechanism. He is great at using his imagination and Grave Digger is his favorite Monster Jam Truck. However,I would NOT recommend this product to anyone. Buyers need more information on how the truck must be "spring loaded" in order to do all the flips, turns, etc.
Update on this monster truck: My daughter informed me when she loaded this truck (only a few days after giving it to my grandson)it basically blew up! So beware! The truck looks great but it is very dangerous,difficult to operate and definitely not worth the money! Please don't disappoint your child with this truck!
