i got the nitro but it is not even close to pic, its plastic and round not metal, nitro is 2 out of 5 star nitro horrible not reccomended

Nitrotane
the nitro was not the can that is advertised and it was half full of nitro. plus i payed and had to wait a hole 2 weeks to get my product after it was payed for in one day!!!!!

Fun in a box!
This thing is a BLAST! Right out of the box it has detailed instructions on many activities including maintenance and adjustments. Everything is included, the only thing you need is your hands and something to open the box with. As expected with any Team Losi kit, it's very good quality and the instructions are top notch. Team Losi says "no sand action" but I disagree. I ran mine in fine dirt and even piles of dust and it's just fine. Clean it regularly and it will be good to go!

As for durability, I have yet to break anything. The steering "turnbuckles" are very thin transparent pieces of plastic and are flimsy. A couple people have reportedly broken these. I have yet to do it but there are numerous ways to fix it including fabricating your own small piece of plastic to replace the stock units. Not hard and I'm sure someone will come out with an aftermarket unit soon if one hasn't been released already. Even if mine had broken I couldn't complain about it. They're easy to...

extreme fun in a box
i did not buy mine from amazon but that shouldn't matter because this is so damn fun i have had many other bigger rc toys that where fun but could only use them in in large areas to have fun. with this thing you can turn your living room, bedroom etc... into the most extreme track or obstacle course that you could not of ever thought possible i even made a couple jumps and a corner quarter pipe which is the most fun of all (you should try) and i have never bin so enter tained in my life
the only problems i have had so far was striping the spur gear and loosing a tiny screw
i suggest getting the the ball bearing's as a good upgrade and stiffer springs. Also if you want more speed and longer run times i suggest you get lipo battery.
And as a very good tip you should order some spare parts that you think you might loose or break (very small parts).

Small car fun
This tiny truck is fun. It is almost too fast for my small house. Looks a little fragile, but nothing has broken so far. It looks like almost all parts are available for replacement, so no worries even if it does. Running time is about 15 minutes for a 20 min charge, less time if you run it hard. Long enough to have fun, not so long I get bored. It has one minor flaw, you have to take the body off to recharge. The mfr should have made the battery charger easier to connect and/or they should have made it so you can swap out the battery quickly and easily. As it stands it requires taking off the body and then removing a small panel with 2 tiny screws. I guess it saves me money... no point in getting a second battery, to difficult to swap out. Despite my gripes it is very fun and entertaining. It low speeds it has turning radius of about 18" so you don't need much room. With practice and the right surface you can power skid a tighter radius.

Great Indoor Car... not outdoor
This is a great little truck. The 4wd is probably not necessary but is great in preventing getting stuck. My 4 year old is able to drive with little supervision.

Pros:
Small Enough for in House.
Pretty fast
Very durable.
Replacement and hop up parts available.
15 minutes of drive time on fully charged battery.
Battery is replaced on the bottom of the car, so requires no time or tools to switch a battery out.
Controller has adjustments to set the alignment, which is a necessity.

Cons:
Gear in the rear Axle was knocked loose... easy to fix if you can figure out how to take apart and put back together. The car may have been dropped, could not get a straight answer from the 4 or 7 year old.
Turn Radius is not great... Probably due to 4wd. While driving you can pop from forward to reverse to forward and kick out the back to shorten the turn ratio on slick floors.

The perfect basement racer
This thing is really fun. I purchased it for my son's 5th birthday as something we can do together and to get him interested in the world of RC. I was an RC fanatic in my younger days but since so much has changed, I did a lot of research to find the right car. I was looking at 1/10th scale short course trucks at first thinking we could race it together at the local track but after a few practice runs with an old RC10T3 I quickly realized my 5 year old might be better served learning on something a little smaller and maybe a little slower. Besides a 1/10th scale car is no fun indoors. I'm glad I found this little truck. It's a little smaller than I had expected but it's not super micro. It's a great size for indoor and outdoor fun. I received one of these cars about a year ago, for my birthday. It is great. Very durable, and fast! It looks so real, and it is a great car for inside when it is raining and I can't drive on the dirt track near my house.

Pros:
Very durable: Has hobby grade electronics, steel driveshafts, LCG tub chassis
Great handling: The oild filled big bore shocks and 4wd system allow you to put all the power to the ground. The shocks allow for great cornering, and the 4wd allows for some good powersliding on polished floors.
Soft rubber tires: the tires are soft compound rubber, like what would be used in larger scale rc racing. It affords huge amounts of grip on pavement, but still allows for some good old drifting fun on slippery surfaces

This is what RC "toys" should be
The Micro Desert Truck (DT) is almost the exact same vehicle as the Losi Micro-T, so reviews of the Micro-T should also be helpful. There are a couple differences between the models. The DT has a slightly longer wheelbase from a longer chassis, and it sports a roomier battery compartment (you REALLY have to push to get the LiPo battery pack into the Micro-T).

If you're a parent and wondering why you should spend double the price of a Tyco car for this little thing, you should keep several things in mind: it's repairable, rebuildable, and upgradeable. Unlike another RC car that will never get played with once it breaks or stops being fun, the Losi Micro Trucks have replacement parts available at your local hobby store or all over the internet, including here. Makes you feel like a kid again!
This is a fun, practical small scale RC. I've had Xmods, Xmods Evolution, Iwaver cars (Mini-Z clone), and Iwaver Monster trucks. The Losi Micro-T is the most fun out of the box. Tile, Carpet, Pavement present no problems for the Micro-T. The suspension on it makes jumping and landing it fun and controllable. It is quick out of the box. The quality level on this is much better than any of the Xmods/Iwavers I had, and it should be as it is more expensive. I would recommend this to any adult or responsible kid. Nothing has broken on mine, but it's entirely possible that something will, if you don't treat it right(Because it is so small). Luckily since Losi is a big name RC company there are full replacement parts available as well as aftermarket hop-ups(upgrades). I have bearings and a Losi Lipo Battery pack on the way!

FUN! bit-sized
I have the Micro T and the DT, both worth the money. First off....the charger is a joke, while I appreciate Losi's IDEA of a portable charger; the thing is junk. One completely fried and the other eats AA batteries and only charges for 10 mins sometimes... Ordered wall chargers.
I run them on carpet and the impacts are not crazy, but they are fast enough to swipe off an arm or wheel in a basement environment.
The DT is the T w/ a extented chassis and geared higher. (I see the torque in the Micro T but they seem to be equal in top speed)

PS. the T runs great with DT tires (Micro REVO)
Fun to mod but, the parts are TINY! beware...

Lots of parts (tires, batteries, bearings, Hop-ups and tracks)

I put mine on a better Transmitter (the stock one is ok w/ fresh batteries)
