An excellent Land Rover Defender replica
I like this toy very very much... may be even more than my son does. This is an excellent miniature version of the iconic Land Rover Defender SUV. This is made entirely of plastic. The attention to detail is impressive. Both the driver and passenger doors open as well as the back door! The hood pops up and there is even a hood stand!! Both front wheel are connected to the steering wheel such that if you rotate the steering in any direction, the front wheels actually turn! But that is not the most amazing thing in this mini Land Rover. The best feature of this replica is the independent wheel suspension for all 4 wheels. If you drive this over a toy soldier for example, you will notice that the wheel directly over the soldier lifts slightly up to accommodate the soldier while all the other 3 wheels are still maintaining contact with the ground. This is what Land Rovers are famous for and what all the real off-road capable vehicles display. I was just amazed to find that they would put...

3-year-old LOVES it!
My 3-year-old son loves his new truck. It is made exceptionally well...the tires are actual rubber. The back tire comes off. The stearing wheel actually moves the wheels. You can open all the doors and put little people inside. Very impressed!
Great toy Rover
My kids love this rover and so do I. While it is still made of plastic, it does not feel like the usual cheap plastic found in most toys. It is a well designed and manufactured replica of a Land Rover Defender 90 td5. Each axle articulates and the front wheels are steerable. All of the doors, hood and sunroof open/close. It also tows the Bruder horse trailer. My kids have has hours upon hours of equestrian safaris. Great toy.

Its awesome!
I was worried with all the bad reviews that this wouldnt be that good
but I love it I got it for my husband as a suprize for when he gets back from fex.
Its really quiet and it works well offroad :)
Turns well too!
I've only used it for about 5 minutes but the batteries are doing really well so far.
Mine came in blue its a lil smaller than I thought but still plenty big.

A Great Value, Surprisingly Fun
I pored over reviews for RC trucks for days trying to find something for my 6 year old's birthday. He typically retains an interest in a new toy for a short amount of time, so I didn't want to spend very much money on it; however, I didn't want it to break before he was done with it, which this product is perfect for.

The Good Stuff:

-It worked out of the box with no special hoops to jump through - just put in some fresh batteries and slide the plastic antenna cover on (tie a knot in the top of the antenna so it doesn't fly off).

-Came in the blue body/white top style, very nice

-Good range: I could operate it 20-30 feet away with no problem (assuming line of sight)

-Surprisingly fast: I would have to jog reasonably fast to keep up with it

-Good wheel/body clearance - you can drive it over small obstacles in the house and it does well with thresholds, carpet, small sticks, and small rocks/gravel. It does best on...
False advertising
The description of this item includes, "equipped with Maestro's Tri-Channel Transmitter". That is not true. The transmitter is only 27 MHZ with no way to change that frequency. I purchased two of these remote control trucks for my children to play with together, but because the transmitters are on the same frequency, they conflict with each other. I need to return one of the trucks.

Great Toy!!
I thought the product was just perfect. I gave it to my daughter as a gift and she was not only pleasantly surprised but quite pleased. I was impressed when the package arrived. Just one thing, about packaging - it would be nice to package in a smaller box, because volumetric charges can be very costly. Thank you for this wonderful product.
